The latest Climate Change group projects.
The group met on 9 May 2012 at County Hall, Matlock and discussed and agreed the benefits of the group for those involved in furthering the climate change agenda within their respective organisations.
They also worked together to collate a list of projects/actions which could be the focus of the group for 2012/2013 and agreed to collate a list of existing climate change related work in order to:
- avoid duplication of work
- identify any gaps
- raise awareness of the ongoing work across Derbyshire
- understand how Partners can support existing projects
The group also suggested collating available data on climate change in Derbyshire and using carbon modelling software to provide steer for future projects/actions for the group.
